Multi Channel Communciations
SecureAxxess’ Multi Channel product provides users with ability to choose frequencies that provide the highest available throughput with the lease chance for outside interference. SecureAxxess can build wireless solutions utilizing many frequencies to mitigate down time and interference. Our experience consists of both licensed and licensed exempt frequency solutions.
Active Interference Mitigation (AIM)
Once the unit is activated, a sweep of the frequency bands is performed. The device determines which will deliver the strongest link based on signal strength. Once the determination of the best frequency is established, the unit initiates the wireless link. The link is constantly monitored and if significant degradation in signal occurs, the unit can dynamically switch to the alternate frequency. The operator also will have the ability to pre-select the desired frequency of operation.
OFDM
The benefits of OFDM are high spectral efficiency, resiliency to RF interference and lower multi-path distortion. This is important because in a typical broadcasting scenario there are multipath-channels (i.e. the transmitted signal arrives at its destination using multiple paths of varying lengths). Since these individual transmissions can interfere with each other, it becomes difficult to receive the original information.
Adaptive Modulation
SecureAxxess adapts the transmission mode in accordance with the channel. Depending on the condition of the channel, the transmitter could be adapting constellation size, code rate and power. By utilizing adaptive modulation, SecureAxxess’ solution improves the rate of transmission (i.e. bite error rate) by exploiting the channel information that is present at the transmitter. Especially over fading channels which are common in wireless environments.
Hermetic Sealing
Most environments require a more rugged solution than COTS devices can supply. SecureAxxess has created a solution that utilizes COTS devices, while maintaining a higher standard of performance. SecureAxxess is able to make the unit self contained and improve performance via hermetic sealing. The results are:
